Player Code of Conduct Agreement

This policy applies to all ABL Series players regardless of role or rank. ABL Series players are required to follow our Player Code of Conduct while participating in the ABL Series. We outline the components of the Player Code of Conduct below:

Act with Integrity

  • All players must protect the ABL Series’ integrity. We expect players to be ethical and responsible when dealing with the ABL Series’ partnerships and public image.
  • Cases of collusion or ‘game fixing’ will result in disciplinary action.

Treat Others with Respect

  • Players should respect ABL Series community members. The ABL Series will not allow any kind of discriminatory behavior, harassment or victimization.
  • As a rule of thumb – Treat others how you would like to be treated.

Collaboration

  • Players should be friendly and collaborative. They should try not to disrupt the community or present obstacles to the ABL Staff as they execute their duties.
  • Players are not allowed to advertise or promote competitor leagues.

Communication

  • All players must be open for communication with the ABL Series staff.
  • Our Open Door policy reflects our commitment to transparent and flexible communication between players and ABL Series staff members.

Discord

  • All players will adhere to the Discord chat rules posted in the ABL Series channel.

ABL Rules

  • All players are responsible for reading and adhering to the ABL Rules – posted in the ABL Series Discord channel under ‘abl-rules’.

Disciplinary Actions

The ABL Series may have to take disciplinary action against staff who repeatedly or intentionally fail to follow the Player Code of Conduct. Disciplinary actions will vary depending on the violation.

Possible consequences include:

  • Reprimand.
  • Demotion.
  • Suspension or termination for more serious/or repeated offenses.
  • Detraction of benefits for a definite or indefinite time.

We may take legal action in cases of corruption, theft, embezzlement or other unlawful behavior.

 

Staff Code of Conduct Agreement

This policy applies to all ABL Series staff regardless of role or rank. ABL Series staff are required to follow our Staff Code of Conduct while performing their duties. We outline the components of the Staff Code of Conduct below:

Act with Integrity

  • All staff must protect the ABL Series’ integrity. We expect staff to be ethical and responsible when dealing with our organization’s finances, partnerships and public image.
  • Staff must be professional at all times.

Maintain a Sense of Impartiality

  • Staff must never give preferential treatment because of a personal relationship. Favouritism negatively effects the credibility of the ABL Series. Staff will maintain a decorum of impartiality when executing their duties.

Treat Others with Respect

  • Staff should respect their colleagues and ABL Series community members. The ABL Series will not allow any kind of discriminatory behavior, harassment or victimization.
  • Staff should fulfill their duties with integrity and respect toward players, stakeholders and the community.
  • Staff must not abuse their authority.
  • As a rule of thumb – Treat others how you would like to be treated.

Keep ABL Series Business In-House

  • Staff must not discuss organization-only matters with non-staff members. If you’re unsure of whether or not you can share ABL Series news, ask your supervisor.

Collaboration

  • Staff should be friendly and collaborative. They should try not to disrupt the workplace or present obstacles to their colleagues’ work.

Communication

  • All staff must be open for communication with their colleagues, supervisors or team members.
  • Our Open Door policy reflects our commitment to transparent and flexible communication between managers and team members. Our staff should be free to speak openly to their supervisors, or other managers and directors

We may take legal action in cases of corruption, theft, embezzlement or other unlawful behaviour. Please forward issues with staff behaviour (including evidence, such as screen shots) to: Zohan789 or LordBastille. Unsubstantiated claims cannot be actioned against. You must present concrete evidence (ex. Screen shots, Chat Logs, etc).
